1020 Xbox 360 secondary error code | Three red rings guide

Breaking down your error

This is yet another secondary error code on the Xbox 360 caused primarily by human error. Here we deal with the NAND and flashing the NAND. To be a lot more specific, your SMC configuration is corrupted. The 1020 secondary error code populates after a bad NAND build and flash were attempted. It is practically impossible for this error to occur on it's own. If you did not modify the console or Flash the NAND, someone else did! You will have to rebuild the NAND from scratch and then flash it again. If the 1020 secondary error code won't clear, even after rebuilding the NAND, then whatever process or coding you used is not done correctly. If you have no idea what any of this means, your only real option is seeking a pro to repair it for you. You can also replace the entire motherboard as this would be a new NAND that is configured correctly.
