A rare error
This one is pretty cut and dry, the E72 error code comes from an operator error. It is very uncommon for this error to occur on it's own. More than likely a modder attempted to modify this console and failed. Let's break it down further.
Corrupt NAND
Simply put, the E72 error code is caused by a corrupt configuration in the NAND. The only way you could fix your Xbox 360 console with this error would be rebuilding and flashing the NAND. This is definitely an advanced repair and should not be attempted by someone who doesn't have the experience. A beginner could decide on replacing the motherboard itself to get the console working again.
