The E80 error code deals with the dashboard of the Xbox 360 console. This is most likely caused by botched modifications. It is very unlikely to get this error on it's own. So let's break down the solutions.
Wrong Version
Without getting too technical, the E80 error deals with mismatched versions in the NAND. This is typically an error that can occur while attempting to modify the console. An option you have is downgrading the dashboard to the original version (If you know it) Additionally, you can have the dash versions all matching up in the NAND but have removed a resistor before it was time to do so. You can also fix this by flashing the NAND if you have the CPU key code. These are all advanced techniques. If you purchased or acquired the console with the E80 error code, your best bet is replacing the motherboard.
