About Tinker Mods
What we do
At Tinker Mods we fully support the do it yourself mentality. We think our viewers like to learn how things work and pride themselves on building their own custom gaming consoles. We offer a wide variety of tutorials to help people with their projects. To this end we offer supplies and kits for those of you who want to have something unique. We have been doing this since 2008 and because of that we are the longest standing company that makes custom consoles, kits, and supplies to ameteur and pro modders alike.
In the beginning
Tinker Mods actually started as a game console repair company. We offered repair services for any console out there. With-in a year Tinker Mods branched out into case modding. We started to offer case modding services for customers and their consoles.
Growing as a company
As time went on Tinker Mods re-structured itself and business model. The market was flooded with shady repair companies that had very little experience and even less credibility. It was at this point we decided to distance ourselves from those types of companies because of the bad reputation they were giving this business. It was at this time we also decided that we wanted to help give back to the modding and repairing community, as well as see it grow. We then began offering free tutorials to help people learn how to diagnose and fix their consoles, as well as show people how they can build their very own custom gaming consoles!
Nearly 10 years later...
Tinker Mods has grown to a very stable position in the repair and modding community. We now run one of the most popular YouTube channels with millions of views and thousands upon thousands of subscribers. Besides Just Tinker Mods, we also own a second business, FixYourConsole.com, one of the only companies that offer gaming repair parts and supplies. We also run a second Storefront on eBay that offers case modding kits, repair parts, supplies, and more!
