Product Description

Let's start off with the important info you need to know about this Xbox One optical drive. This is a DG-6M2S model and is designed for the Xbox One fat console. If you have a different model optical drive you can head here and check out the other Xbox One disc drive replacements. You also need to be aware of what it takes to install this part. The Xbox One optical drive has a PCB, or printed circuit board, inside of it. This board is married to your main motherboard in the console. Because of this you need to remove the PCB from your old optical drive and install it in this one. If you don't, it will not read game discs. That is also why this will not include a PCB. This actually saves you a step in the installation process because you wouldn't have to de-solder the PCB from this drive. This does require a bit of soldering to install. There are two wires that attach to the PCB, these are very simple to install. Lastly, this Xbox One optical drive is NOT a cheap third party clone part. This is an OEM drive which means it is an original genuine part. I have fully tested this as well as cleaned. Everything will work perfect! I have also lubricated and cleaned the entire eject mechanism which will give this optical drive a longer life!
