Original Xbox Flashing Green light error | Tinker Mods

An issue with you Bios

This error is caused by your bios not loading. If your bios can't load, then your dashboard definitely can't either. This means the console doesn't have more than it's most primitive functions, such a showing the flashing green light error code. A bit of a side note, If you have a modified original Xbox console, a flashing green light could actually be completely normal. Custom dashboards allow settings allow you to change the color of those lights. If your console does not boot up at all and simply has the flashing green light in the front, then you have the error. Let's dig deeper into the problem, as well as some troubleshooting.

Modified console?

This type of error is usually due to modifications such as mod chips that inject their own bios directly. If you have a mod chip attached to the console check to make sure any switch PCBs are functioning properly and that you have a proper bios selected. The mod chip may have corrupted bios info as well. See if you can get the console back to stock without the mod chip and try again. If the console works properly without it, then that's definitely your problem.

Otherwise, if your console is not modified then you have a MAJOR problem on your hands that would require some advanced tinkering. Your last option would be replacing the motherboard. You can find Original Xbox motherboards here
