E48 synopsis
I got bad news for you. The E48 error on an Xbox 360 is virtually unknown. You technically also have 2 problems with this error. The first being the error code itself. This is an issue that has had little knowledge or information associated with it. This is because this is an error code only possible while the Xbox 360 console is in Manufacturing mode. Due to the general public not having the ability to put a console in this mode, not much testing or interaction exists. So the origins and the repairs for this problem aren't known. Your second problem is your Xbox 360 being in MFG mode in the first place. This would be very uncommon. Having this E48 error code means you have no idea why the console is throwing an error code and no idea how the console got into MFG mode in the first place.
